Who we are

mdata.pl (“we”, “us”) is a business operated by Dariusz Łapiński, providing AI automation and software development services. You can contact us at dlapinski@mdata.pl.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers this website (mdata.pl) and the software applications we operate — including internal automation and reporting tools that connect to third-party APIs (such as Google) using credentials that belong to accounts we own and control.

Information we collect

Website. mdata.pl is a static informational site. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and there are no user accounts or sign-up forms. When the page loads, your browser makes a single request to a third-party geolocation service (ip-api.com) so the page can pick a display language (Polish or English). Only your IP address is sent for that lookup, and we do not store its result. Your language preference is saved locally in your browser and is never sent to us.

Email. If you email us, we receive your message and your email address. We keep this only as long as needed to reply and to maintain ordinary business records.

Applications we operate. Our automation tools read data from third-party APIs using OAuth tokens or API keys issued for accounts we control — for example, our own Google AdSense, Google Search Console, and YouTube channel and analytics data. They use this data only to generate internal reports, monitoring, and publishing for those same accounts. They do not access data belonging to any other person, and we do not sell, rent, or share this data. Tokens and keys are stored on private infrastructure with restricted access.

Google API data

Where our applications use Google APIs, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use the data solely for internal reporting and publishing on accounts we own.

YouTube API Services

Some of our applications use YouTube API Services to publish videos to, and read analytics for, a YouTube channel that we operate. In using those services we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. These applications access only our own channel and its data; they do not access any other person’s YouTube account or data. Access granted to our applications can be reviewed or revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.

Legal basis (GDPR / RODO)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest (responding to enquiries, operating and securing our own systems) or your consent (when you choose to contact us by email).

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO). To exercise any of these rights, email dlapinski@mdata.pl.

Retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and we apply reasonable technical measures to protect it, including access controls and encryption in transit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above will always reflect the current version.
